The Oakland County Pharaohs is a professional basketball team coming off of a playoff birth in its inaugural season, and an official member of The Basketball League. Our goal is to provide spectacular, family friendly entertainment to the Oakland County region through fun and immersive game day experiences, engagement with local and youth organizations, and partnerships with thriving Metro Detroit businesses. The Oakland County Pharaohs believe the support of the people in our city is key to a successful season.
But Why the Pharaohs?
The Oakland County Pharaohs take our name from the rich history of the word Lansing— which can be traced as far back as Ancient Egyptian texts! Our name is as impressive as our goal— to bring a unique and diverse experience fit for royalty not only to our fans in the Oakland County Region, but to the entire Midwest Conference.
